Did you watch the awesome event?

Last Sunday, my dad's choir sang for the Sunday Mass at St. Luke's church. The mass started at half past ten. After Mass, we went to Papa toe for a household prayer meeting. When the household prayer meeting was over we proceeded to Countdown. We bought some food and drinks that wanted to share with our friends. We Watched the world boxing fight between Floyd May weather and our fellow country man Manny Pacquiao.

After my friend's dad finally set up the T.V we started to watch the boxing fight. There were do many people gathered in the house to watch the fight.When the boxers went out of the dressing room we were so excited.

Manny's background music was of his own composition wrote the song. His friends and family were all there his Mother, his wife and supporters were all there. A choir sang the Filipino National anthem. The national anthem of mexico and U.S.A were also sang.

Then the bell rang and the host said "Let's get ready to rumble." The first three rounds were good because Manny had good punches but then in the round's Floyd scored higher points.

After twelve rounds, the winner was announced. We were all sad because Manny lost but for us he is always the winner. He fought a good fight Manny said that he will fight again. Hopefully he could train hard and wins the next fight.

Did you love your weekend?

On Saturday my family and I went to the mall. My dad bought his new I phone Samsung galaxy S.4. I get to play with the I phone first as long as my baby brother is still using his I pad. After that we went to Sylvia Park before we went to Saint Patrick's parish.  
It was nearly the end of Saturday so my family and I needed to go home. My family and I were tired I played and watched T.V. when I got home. My Mum prepared dinner and my dad helped out because they are both good cooks. After we had are meal, all of us watched some more T.V and waited for our favourite movie to be shown. Then my family and I were so sleepy that we felt like we could sleep forever. So we went to bed because the next         
WALT use the appropriate language features in a recount.
I know I can do this when I write the the introduction, the body and the conclusion in order.  

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW!!!

A school is a regular meeting place of a teacher or teachers and students for instruction or programs.

At school, there are different facilities that students can use when needed.There is a room called sick bay where all the sick students or somebody who got hurt can go to have a rest until they feel better. Sometimes, they wait there until their parents come to take them home or take them to the doctor. There is another room called staff room where all the staff gather around during morning tea and lunch break and also when they have staff meetings. The main reception is where the students report to when they are late. The secretary will call the parents when their chidren do not come on time.

There are different kinds of school and some of them are Panmure bridge and St.Patricks school. There are playgrounds all around the schools. Some of the schools have netbooks. There are different kinds of clothing all round the schools some of them have red clothing yellow clothing and green and blue clothing.

There are many kinds of culture in each school some Filipino, Tongan, and many more. All classrooms has desks and chairs and a lot of stationery to use and write with. There is also books that they can read on and learn a lot of words. There are also pencils and rubbers and other stuff that you need for school.

Outside the school is a open play area and that is the grass and a lot of concrete to play hopscotch and play bouncy ball to play handball and many more. Every time the school finishes there is a janitor that helps the school tidy and clean, he or she gets paid by the governor. Each schools also have principal that keeps everything on track.

The principal has to be responsible for all the things, for example the school property, and if something breaks she hires someone to replace it. Some of the schools have 100 and up students, kindergarten is only 20 and below. However it must be tiring to be a principal because they have to organize all of the clothing and the stationary.

School is very important because you get a lot on education and you can make a lot of friends and meet  your teacher. There are different kinds of  classes. Schools also has special events and some of them are mission day and some cultural festival, it can have facilities.

Last but not least there is also a parking lot at the front or the back of the school that is where people park and pick and drop of the students or sons or daughter. There is also a predestrian crossing ane where all the cars stop and give way to the children to cross the road.

WALT plan and write an explanation.

My funny bunny called Oreo!

On Sunday, my parents bought a new pet for me as an advanced birthday present. I felt very happy because I have always wanted to have a pet. They gave me a bunny rabbit and I named him Oreo, because my pet bunny is coloured black and white just like the colour of Oreo Cookie!

When I woke up that morning, my dad said that they had a surprise for me at the pet store so I hurried to put on my clothes. I asked my mum is a my mum in a low voice saying, “What is the surprise?” My mum told me, “Your dad is getting you a new pet as long as it is a cheap bunny”. When we went to the car, my dad blindfolded me so that I couldn't see the surprise they had in store for me.

I was so excited that I could not wait to get there. When we got to the pet shop, my dad took off my blindfold so I could see the pets inside the pet store. Then I hurriedly went to the bunny area and said, “I want the black and white baby bunny”. I brought the bunny to the counter and my dad paid for it. I cuddled my precious pet while my parents bought some pet food for my new bunny.  

Finally, we went back home to play with my bunny. He is the best pet I have in my life. After a little while, we watched on you tube on how we can take care of our bunny properly. I will try my best to follow what I have learned from the Internet. My baby brother and I went to our mum and dad and asked them if  we could get a hutch for my bunny .

I really enjoyed my weekend.  I hope that I will get another pet in the future because if it’s not too expensive because I know that I will have fun looking after it.

My Thrilling afternoon!

It was not a dream… but it felt like a dream... but it actually happened at Lynton Rd near Sylvia Park…...

Yesterday my whole family was at my uncle’s house near Sylvia park for a household prayer meeting. Me and my friend were playing computer games while the adults were praying. When the praying was over, we had a fellowship and we ate pizza, cheese cake and drank coke. Then, we got ready to go home. When we got to our car, we saw a big truck blocking our way. My dad and his friend went to the man who owned the truck. My dad politely asked him if he could move out his 10 wheeler truck so we can get out of the driveway. The truck owner was drunk and he got mad to be disturbed even for just a few minutes. He started swearing, saying ‘get the f word out of here!’ .My dad and his friend to backed off  straight away to avoid trouble. They tried to figure out how we can safely get out from there.

Suddenly, the drunk man started clapping and cheering like he was crazy. It gave me the creeps!  He pointed at a huge rock the size of my net book. Then he picked up the bolder and threw it at our car then pointed a middle finger at us. He was so rude!!! My dad honked the car as loud as he could while my mum, my brother and I were all shocked and scared to death. I thought we were all going to die! Praise God the bolder did not hit our car and nobody got hurt. I thanked God for protecting me and my family.

Finally, we were able to get out of the driveway and we were so relieved.  My parents decided to give us a family treat after what happened so we went straight to Hoyt's Sylvia Park to watch Transformer 4.

We arrived at the cinema just in time for the movie to start. I was so thrilled because the movie was awesome.  When we came home after the movie, my dad phoned and reported to the police everything that happened at my uncle’s house with the drunk man.

I hope that the police will teach that man a lesson so that he will not do it to other people.
